Family of Paul S. Andrews

Paul passed away at the age of 84 on March 6, 2024, after a two -year progression of dementia. Paul was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and community member. Paul served 4 years in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Bennington and worked for and retired from AT&T after 30+ years of service. Additionally, he was a 50-year member of the Greater Waldorf Jaycees, where he served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Director, as well as a 30-year member of the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Foundation, where he served as Chairman of the Board, President, and Vice President. His work with the Greater Waldorf Jaycees and their foundation is what connected him to the College of Southern Maryland, where his daughter and granddaughters attended and graduated. This scholarship is to honor Paul and his belief that there is a need for scholarships for those who are single parents and are first time students/returning to college to better themselves and provide greater opportunities for their children.
