Quality Printers LLC

The year was 1982. Joe Namyst was two years out of McDonough High School, the place where he had begun his journey in the field of graphic arts. His dad gave him permission to put an old, worn-out printing press in his garage, and they began the process of breathing some life back into her. That was the humble beginning of Quality Printers. Though his dad would never run a press, his mechanical ability and his willingness to help had a huge influence on the success of Quality Printers. Joe’s dad, mom and grandma spent many hours around the table, folding, inserting, numbering and stapling printed forms and publications. And there were countless trips to the paper companies and deliveries to customers all over Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia that were made without an ounce of reservation and mostly without compensation.

When Quality Printers determined that they would give back a portion of our proceeds to a senior with a passion for graphic communications it was only fitting that this should be done in honor Joe’s father Joseph A. Namyst Jr. Though he was not a wealthy man in a worldly sense, his generosity was a blessing to many. May that generosity live on through Quality Printers, a company that he influenced greatly.
