SMECO
SMECO is a customer-owned electric cooperative providing electricity to more than 165,000 services in southern Prince George’s County, and in Charles County, St. Mary’s County, and all but the northeast portion of Calvert County.
Impact
The SMECO Future Engineers Endowed Scholarship was established in 2012 by SMECO in support of electrical engineering students.
The SMECO Pre-Apprenticeship Program Scholarship was established in support of CSM students who are enrolled in the Pre-Apprenticeship Program and demonstrate financial need with preference given to students from underserved populations.
