Southern Maryland Women's League Scholarship

The Southern Maryland Women’s League Scholarship provides financial assistance for tuition, fees, books and childcare to a parent or child of a single-parent household. Students must reside in Southern Maryland and be enrolled at least part-time (6 credits). Students are asked to explain their personal hardship and challenges through an essay of at least 100 words. Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need. Scholarship can be renewed for one consecutive additional academic year providing the recipient remains in good academic standing.
